beer's and brass

I caught the Queenscliff-Sorrento Ferry on Saturday to meet up with Fran for lunch and beers. We had a brilliant afternoon in the sun sampling ales from various pubs, and of course awoke a little shabby the next day. To my surprise the Ferry ride back to Queenscliff was made much more comfortable by a group of young musicians, who's upbeat enthusiasm was infectious.

Though in saying that, check out the last picture. I think there is a political coup looming with this trumpet blowing mob. Classic.

dispelling bee's

Sunday lunch was a great success. The weather was ace, food was a hit, company was stellar and the entertainment, though unconventional, very entertaining.

At the point of meals being completed, and conversation growing more and more engaging, we were swarmed by what was estimated at 10,000 plus busy, buzzing, bloody-well pissed off bee's.

The Bee Man arrived after a few hours of us being barricaded inside and made light work of the pending sticky (mmm, honey) situation.

I couldn't resist a couple of snaps. The first shows just how many there were! They are all just piled on top of one another on a branch having a massive sex-fest. Though I don't recommend poking your todger in there!

rake summer 2011

Some digital and polaroid photos I did for Rake Surfboards Summer 2011 clothing range. Since introduced to Rake as a brand I have been a keen follower of their surfboard shapes and clothing designs. Adrian Knott, director and designer of Rake, is a hell fun cat with a trick or two up his sleeve.

Check out their website for unique board and clothing goodness.

love shack

I was asked to do some photos of Uncle Tayles and Aunty Davo's home for a competition. Both being well into their interior design/decoration, Aunty Davo having the talent (ha ha). They have created a humble beach shack home, with the most amazing warm feel to it.

Wishing them great success with the competition, and Davo with her study.
