sunny days, yet winter waves

A 6am start on Saturday, saw a magical sunrise and pumping waves.

love'n spring

Spring is here and the swell has been solid. Plenty of waves to be had with lots of spots firing. A taste of things to come? Just imagine it...

big wednesday?

More photos from yesterdays swell. Was a magical day to be on the Surfcoast.

The swell backed off a little in the evening, but so did the wind which made for epic surfing conditions. There is a real buzz around here at the moment.

bells today

big bells and winki

Last Friday saw a relatively unpredicted swell hit the Victorian Surf Coast. Over a matter of hours during mid morning the swell had jumped to 8ft on the sets, accompanied by a howling NW offshore gale.

Few bothered to check the surf, those who did were rewarded with towering walls of cold winter water and open caverns for momentary exploring.
